International wedding photographer Laura Luís brings over a decade of experience to her clientele. Her formal training includes a university degree in photojournalism and subsequent work in a non-photographer capacity for the National Geographic Society, for National Geographic Magazine, National Geographic Traveler, and nationalgeographic.com.

Laura's foray into wedding photography began with shooting as second photographer to one of the most exclusive wedding photographers in the industry. With her she traveled extensively throughout the United States and internationally to photograph weddings of blue-blood celebrity clientele. She has worked with the finest planners and event designers, affording her an insider's understanding of what even the most elaborate weddings require in terms of timing, depth of coverage, and professionalism.

Laura has been privileged to photograph weddings and assignments far and wide in beautiful destinations in the U.S. and abroad, including Oxford, London, Wales, Dublin, Wexford, Paris, Marseilles, Positano, Ravello, the Mayan Riviera, the British West Indies, Puerto Rico, the Hamptons, South Beach, the Berkshires, Cape Cod, Pinehurst, Newport Beach, and many other locales.

Laura's photography has been published and commissioned by such prestigious clients as nationalgeographic.com, the BBC, the Alvin Ailey Alumnae Association, various bridal magazines, and discerning wedding clientele. She is the recipient of numerous accolades and photography awards, including a stipend for international documentary work in Oxford, England.
